Formerly known as the Regional Printing Center East Asia Pacific, Global Publishing Solutions is the main printing, publishing, and multimedia arm of the US Department of State.

The website serves as the main portal for featuring publications and accepting orders online within the Department of State worldwide. We, the webteam, have also created an automated online ordering system which creates print ready PDF files after the customer have previewed, approved, and purchased the proof they made online for State Department business cards, certificates, and invitations.

Global Publishing Solutions version one website is more concentrated in featuring our products & publications.

Global Publishing Solutions version two website now features a more user-friendly design with icons clearly showing each section and their functions. All icons used are created by me.

The online ordering section for official government business cards which directly produces a PDF (Portable Document Format) & JDF (Job Definition Format) file connected to the computer mainframe which is directly responsible in processing the file for printing on large format printers. Our web team created this system to accelerate the ordering, approval, production, and delivery time for our product.

We created a catalog system for all Global Publishing Solutions products & publications. If there are no available image on file, I take the initiative to scan their covers or take pictures of them. It is also my responsibility to keep the catalog updated and have them featured on the website to increase potential sales.

Our latest advanced feature for the site is providing customizable sections for its users. Some sections are disabled depending on the access rights of each registered user. This is to provide additional security for the site and its users online.
